[edit] Starting Out

To start this quest speak with the Cook in the Kitchen of Lumbridge Castle, on the ground floor. Ask him what is wrong and he'll tell you that it is the Duke of Lumbridge's birthday and he forgot to get the ingredients for the cake. Agree to help him and he'll tell you he needs a bucket of milk, an egg, and a pot of flour.

[edit] Gathering the Ingredients

You have a number of options available to you. The quickest would be to buy from one of the other players. If you are a member head down the trapdoor in the Kitchen and try buying from one of the players in the north-east corner of the basement. If you are not a member head up to the bank on the third floor and ask there.

The Grand Exchange is another option but if you are going to travel that far you might as well just collect the ingredients yourself.

  • Bucket of Milk: Head east out of the Castle and cross the river before heading north to the cow pasture. Use a bucket on a Dairy Cow to get milk.
  • Egg: Exit the cow pasture and head north to a small farm house with chickens. There you will find an egg in the chicken coop.
  • Pot of Flour: Be sure to pick up an empty pot from the Kitchen before you leave. After collecting the egg and milk, head back south and cross the river at the first bridge. Follow the road north west to a wheat field and pick some wheat. North east of the wheat field is a windmill where you can process your wheat into flour. Climb the ladder in the windmill to the third level and use the wheat on the Hopper. Then click on the levers next to the hopper to operate. Once that is done head back down to the bottom level and use your pot on the Flour to fill.

Once you have the three ingredients head back to the Cook in Lumbridge Castle to claim your reward.

[edit] Reward

  • 1 Quest Point
  • 300 Cooking experience
  • Ability to use the Cook's range (Using the range will reduce the chance of burning your food item)
