Starting Out

Talk to Betty in Rimmington, which is west of Port Sarim. Ask for a quest and ask to have your magic power increased. She will ask you to bring her 4 items, those items are Eye of Newt, an Onion, a piece of burnt meat and a Rat's Tail.

Instructions

1. Eye of Newt – You can buy this from Betty in her magic shop in Port Sarim for 3 Gp.
2. Rat’s Tail – Kill a small rat for this item, giant rats do not drop it. After you have given her the rat’s tail you will never be able to get another rats tail drop.
3. Burnt meat – You can either buy this item from another player or by cooking a piece of meat and failing to cook it. If you cook it right, cook it again to burn it.
4. Onion – If you are a member you can grow one of these on your allotment or you can pick one from the field containing onions and cabbages North of Rimmington.
5. When you have all these items bring them back to Hetty for your reward.
