Shield of Arrav

Starting Out

Go to the Varrock Library and talk to Reldo. He'll talk about the Shield of Arrav and then he'll mention a book somewhere in the library. Find the book, and then read about it. It'll talk about how the Pheonix Gang split up and became two gangs, the Pheonix gang and the Black Arm gang. It'll also mention that the shield broke into two, and each gang has half of the shield. Talk to Reldo again and he'll tell you to find Baraek, the fur seller, in the Varrock marketplace (just south of the castle ).

Instructions

Baraek is in the north-east part of the marketplace. Talk to him, and he'll agree to tell you about the gangs.

IF you pay him 20 coins. Pay him, and he'll talk. Next, find the tramp south of the marketplace, and ask him about the alley. He'll say that's where the Black Arm Gang headquarters are. From here, you have a choice. You can join the Black Arm gang or the Pheonix gang. I'd say you should join the Black Arm gang because most of RuneScape has joined the Pheonix gang, so if you join the Pheonix gang, it'll be hard finding a partner that's joined the gang that not alot of people join. If you join the Black Arm gang, you'll get people volunteering to be your partner in seconds.
