[edit] Chicken

[edit] Information

A chicken

The chicken is non-aggressive and is available to F2P. The chicken has a combat level of 1 and has 30 lifepoints. It attacks with melee only. It has very low defence, strength, and attack. It's max hit is 15 although it will be very hard for it to hit that. When the chicken has about 10 lifepoints, it will try to retreat. It is one of the most common monsters in all of Runescape.

[edit] Drops

The chicken will ALWAYS drop bones, and a raw chicken. It will usually drop 5 feathers, 10 feathers, or 15 feathers. Sometimes, it will drop eggs. It also has the rare chance of dropping a Cornucopia. You can only carry one Cornucopia at a time.

[edit] Location

The chicken can be located...

-At farmer Fred's farm, located north of Lumbridge Castle.

-Varrock, located at the Champion's Guild

-Falador, located near the White Knight Castle

-Lumbridge, above the Goblin House across the cow field.

-Wizard's Tower, located in the Basement

-Varrock, south of the Dark Wizard Circle

-Tutorial Island (due to updates, this is not available anymore), Mage tutor

[edit] Training

The chicken is a somewhat decent training monster for beginners as it should be virtually impossible for it to kill you, and has very low defence. It might get a bit crowded around the highly populated chicken areas.
