How To Obtain

The abyssal whip is the most commonly used weapon in RuneScape members for several reasons. While sporting a high strength bonus, it also is rather accurate, and fast. It is held with one hand and can be used with a shield or other off-hand item. With a level of 85 Slayer, you can kill Abyssal Demons, which drop Abyssal whips as a rare drop.

The whip has a special attack which drains the target's run energy by 25%, while making the attack more accurate. It takes 50% Special to use this Attack.

A downside to the Abyssal Whip is it's lack to train Strength efficiently, yet is still widely recognized as one of the best weapons in Runescape or training.
